EMERGE Training

EMERGE (Executive, Management and Employee Responsible Gaming Education) is a science-based, online training program for gaming industry employees developed by Harvard Medical School faculty with support from the National Center for Responsible Gaming and the Institute for Research on Gambling Disorders. EMERGE is the only program of its kind grounded in scientific research, but designed for a lay audience. The self-paced program teaches employees about the nature of addiction, how gambling can become an addiction, and the specific responsible gaming policies and practices of their organization.

EMERGE, which has been approved by an international, third-party credentialing agency, exceeds the requirements of current gaming regulations regarding responsible gaming training for employees, as determined by individual jurisdictions, and is available to employees 24/7 thanks to its online platform. For more information on EMERGE, contact Christine Reilly at 978-299-3040 or creilly [at] gamblingdisorders [dot] org.
