The Institute for Research on Gambling Disorders works closely with the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) each year to develop the content for the annual NCRG Conference on Gambling and Addiction. Bringing together participants from around the world, the conference provides a forum for representatives from the scientific community, health care sector, gaming industry and government to discuss a variety of pressing issues, including pathological gambling research, treatment and prevention, as well as responsible gaming best practices.

Redefining Diagnosis, Treatment, Research and Responsible Gaming for the 21st Century
Take a closer look at how new research and current issues in the field are redefining how we diagnose, treat, study and prevent gambling disorders at the 2010 NCRG Conference on Gambling and Addiction. With new interactive, workshop-style sessions added to the program, the conference will examine a variety of compelling issues and topics including the proposed changes to the definition of pathological gambling in the DSM-V, new approaches for studying and treating minority populations, the latest research on online gambling, the implications of new gambling technology on gambling disorders and fresh ideas for implementing responsible gaming policies in new gaming jurisdictions.
The NCRG Conference provides CEUs approved by NAADAC and other certifying organizations.
